Leading Soccer in Puerto Rico
Discover Our Story
Fraigcomar began in 1985, when a group of dedicated parents transformed an abandoned government lot in the San Ignacio community of Río Piedras into a space where children could learn and enjoy the sport of soccer.
In 1986, Fraigcomar officially became a nonprofit corporation, establishing itself as a structured, committed club focused on youth development.
From the beginning, we created a strong instructional system built on an intramural program, forming teams that compete yearround and cultivating a deep sense of discipline, teamwork, and community. The success of our youth categories propelled Fraigcomar into competitive youth and senior divisions, selecting the top intramural players to represent the club in federation tournaments.
By the mid90s, Fraigcomar had become a powerhouse in youth soccer in Puerto Rico. In 1993, we presented our first senior team to compete in official Federation tournaments—marking a major milestone in our history.
Soon after, we launched our women’s soccer program, now recognized as one of the strongest and most impactful on the island.
At the end of the 90s, we modernized our facilities and began bringing in international coaches to conduct clinics, seminars, and advanced training. Several of these coaches were later hired by the Puerto Rican Soccer Federation to lead the National Team.
Today, Fraigcomar stands as one of the most important and influential soccer clubs in Puerto Rico. Our teams regularly compete in highlevel tournaments in Spain, Italy, Argentina, Costa Rica, and the United States, as well as 10–12 local tournaments every year.

Fraigcomar’s mission is to develop soccer across all levels and ages, shaping not only skilled athletes but responsible, confident citizens for Puerto Rico.
We strongly believe in hard work, discipline, continuous improvement, and respect.
Every practice, event, and competition promotes an atmosphere of honor, dignity, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
Our club has built a long-standing legacy by growing the sport on the island and forging athletes who reflect the values and pride of our Fraigcomar family.
